Q: How come my podcast artwork won't update on iTunes?

Hey there! I've changed the cover art for my podcast and updated it on my Soundcloud RSS feed. This also updated the artwork in the iTunes mobile app, but hasn't within the desktop app. I can't figure out why since they're pulling from the same feed. Any ideas?

It can take some days for a changed image to appear in the Store. Also, if you gave the new image the same filename then the Store (which caches the image) has no way of knowing its changed. I can't comment further than that unless you care to post the URLs of your Store page and feed.

Thank you! I'd read your reply to someone else's similar question, and tried to apply all of what you said but without luck. I'd updated the photo a week or so ago, and it did have a different file name at the time. A podcaster friend of mine said that iTunes recently changed the dimensions requirements to 3000px, though and mine was only at 1400. Yesterday I uploaded a larger version to Soundcloud. Still not change.

The image appears to be OK. If it was only uploaded yesterday it won't appear as yet - it could take some days. 1400 x 1400 would have been OK, but 3000 x 3000 is fine. The file size is quite large at 913 kB - there used to be a maximum of 500kB but it looks as if this no longer applies. Your best bet is to give it ten days or so and see whether it changes.
