Q: Lost my iPhone

Hi there,

I am currently on a business trip in china and on the way back to hotel, unfortunately, I left my phone in the taxi.

Also, unfortunately, I don’t have the find my iPhone application activated on my phone. I wonder if there is any other way I can locate the phone. Or, if not, if there is a way to delete all my personal information from the phone.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.1

This is what you can/should do:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

Find My iPhone is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. If Find My iPhone isn't enabled on your device before it goes missing, there is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you.
