RocketLife plug-ins

While looking through my Safari plug-ins I found I had two from RocketLife - RocketEngine and Upload Manager. As far as I can tell they are Windows software installed as part of some printing software I installed at one time or another.

Do I need either of these plug-ins?

And can they be removed by simply removing them from the Internet Plug-Ins library?

I had the same question. Was surprised to find I had some adware recently when trying to diagnose a problem and was directed to use Malwarebytes. Read an article on items that may inadvertently installed in Safari and decided to check through all my settings. Saw the Rocketlife plugins and was curious. I found this reply but also another site that may be helpful for the future (though I can't fully endorse as I don't know who is answering the questions - there is a vote though) RocketLife Secure Plug-In Layer | Slimware Utilities
