Q: why is my debit card declined on itunes

WHY IS MY DEBIT CARD DECLINED ? I definitely have enough balance to make a purchase. but it seems, is still invalid.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.1

    There is no need to shout.

     

    It's quite possibly because it's a debit card, not all seem to still be accepted. Do you have a credit card that you could try ?

     

    For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).
