You may be having a resolution problem. The Apple 24" display is 1920 X 1200 and may not work if the HDMI is sending l080p (1920 X 1080). Can you check what resolution the PC is set to?

Apr 20, 2016 4:59 PM in response to Malcolm J. Rayfieldby T S1,It was set to 1920 x 1080, so I forced it to 1920X1200 and also 720p as well (1280 x 720). Neither work. The only interesting thing I saw was when the PC reboots, I briefly see the splash screen of the PC vendor on the screen, but then it goes black. Have you had success with the Kanex XD?

Apr 20, 2016 5:38 PM in response to T S1by Malcolm J. Rayfield,The splash screen working implies that something is changing the PC's display settings after booting. Make sure it's 1920 X 1200, 60Hz, progressive scan (not interlaced).
The Kanex unit has the same secs as the one you're using, but they do test with Apple displays. I don't think you have a hardware problem, though, especially with that splash screen showing.
