appleTV keeps asking for appleID, password and authentication code circularly

Why don't Apple do anything about this glitch is a real pain in the AR~~

You have to type in your authentication code immediately after the password, like: password?!393393 in the same line and field.

You have to type in your two factor code right after you enter your password - like in the same field. That's how I got it to work.

Thank you after days of trying, we got it....timing is the key...had to have my son help me out...

Thanks - I had tried what I thought was everything; the short timeout of the OTP mentioned in your past was was key.

Still works in April 2020

put in your authentication code IMMEDIATELY after the password. Example:

Authentication code: 494 303

password: Password123!

What you enter: Password123!494303

Try that.

Getting my authorization code first on my iPhone, adding it after my password before submitting the first time really made all the difference! Thank you so much for that tip!!!

Accounts will be able to login with 2FA using the “append code to the password” technique described in other posts.

This works. Not impressed with the process Apple has designed here, but this solution does solve the problem.

My point was they should have fixed this three years; the 2FA time limit was too short. My OK, meant don’t I expect that now but glad it’s working again.

Still cannot get this to work...so frustrating....so not Apple 🍏
