Q: How do I prevent iTunes and iCloud from popping up during other operations

During normal use of my iPad iTunes and/or iCloud continues to pop up asking mr to sign in or reset my password. Anything I am using get truncated until I attend to the issue brought up by those two issues. How can I prevent this from happening? I have tried to change my password, which seems to happen, but the new password isn't recognized when I try to sign in. I need help.

iPad Air, iOS 9.3

    Hi Carsonwynne123,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

It looks like you've changed your Apple ID (iTunes Store and iCloud account) password but you're asked repeatedly to enter the password when using Apple services.

You can use the following steps from What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password. Even if you've only changed your password (and not your Apple ID email address), these steps can help with the behavior you're seeing:

    iCloud

Update your Apple ID and password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and Apple TV.

    iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

    Go to Settings > iCloud.

    • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password. The data in iCloud will automatically appear on your device after you sign in.

    • If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:

      1. Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm. You might need to enter your password. Your data will remain in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
      2.
      3. Enter your updated Apple ID and password.

If you updated your Apple ID email address before signing out of iCloud, and your device repeatedly asks for the password to your previous Apple ID, you can temporarily change your Apple ID to sign in.

    iTunes, iBooks, and App Store

Update your Apple ID and password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV, or Windows PC. iTunes includes iTunes Genius, iTunes Home Sharing, iTunes Match, iTunes Store, and iTunes U.

    iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

For the iTunes, iBooks, or App Store, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.

    • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password.

    • If you're signed in with your previous Apple ID, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out. Then enter your updated Apple ID and password.

    Best Regards.
