New update 10.11.4 issues: Sys Prefs will not load.

After the install I attempted to load Contacts and none of the Groups were avail. In Prefs I clicked on iCloud and immediate error posed up "Preference Error; Could not load iCloud preference pane." The same error for Users & Groups; Mission Control; Internet Accounts; and more. But approximately 30 minutes later while writing this the above prefs appear to be working.

Gish..I thought it was going to be another "PHOTOS" blunder!

But so far it is working.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), Parallels, Win7, Safari, FCP, A.TV

This is probably not anything to worry about. Immediately after an upgrade OS X is pretty busy updating and indexing things behind the scenes. Depending on what was previously installed this can take quite a while.

I recommend that you run

Utilities > Disk Utility

and verify/repair your disk. If it gets a clean bill of health you can expect your machine to be a little sluggish for a few hours of use as caches are built. If things are not working right after a day then it's time to start looking for remedies.
