I have had an old Macbook (10.4.11) for years. I got it from my sister and it always has required a password to log on to which has always annoyed me (my other macbook doesn't). How do I delete the need for a password on this older macbook?

Thanks but I have tried that. There is no box or anything that has enable automatic login. I tried to search for it under Help and those steps say click "automatic log in" but that's not an option anywhere.
First enable it,then the option to choose the automatic Logon will show up
