I changed the email address I use with iCloud a while back. When I log into my computer, it still asks me for the password associated with my old email address, but won't accept it. How can I stop it from referencing my old email address and get it to realize I changed it over a year ago?

Do you mean you changed the email address associated with your existing Apple ID, or you created a new Apple ID?
They are not the same thing.
Enter your old Apple ID and click Forgot Password,

I changed the email address in my existing Apple ID.
When I do this, it tells me that the Apple ID does not exist.
It may be helpful to look here: What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support. Basically you sign out and then sign back in with the new information.
Thanks everyone for your help with this. In the end I found where it still had a reference to my old email, logged the service out and back in using the new email and it worked. I swear I had done this more than once before, but this time it worked which is all that matters.
