Aperture Update Problem

When I bought my iMac I purchased copy of Aperture. I have kept it updated but had to change email providers and now it wont let me upgrade it even though I changed my email and password. How can I fix this?

iMac, os 10.10.5

Unfortunately, Aperture was discontinued over a year ago and has not been available at all. There is no exact replacement for it. Before it was discontinued, Apple offered to associate older (retail) versions of it with the app store (which I did); so, in my case, it still shows in my Purchases tab of the app store.


More importantly, you said that you changed your email address - did you change your Apple ID or did you simply change your email address? If you changed your Apple ID, you would have to access the app store with your previous ID. Any app store purchases/downloads are tied to the Apple ID used to obtain them.
