I can't submit podcast because of the picture/ logo

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to submit my podcast for the last few hours and I'm very frustrated. It says my picture isn't big enough. It meets the 1400x1400 px but feedburner will not let me upload it. Of course not. Where do I have to upload the picture? I've read that imgur works, but I don't understand how I connect the logo to iTunes when it's on imgur. There is no space to specifically insert the link of my picture, I can only paste the link of my feed which should already contain it. So, please, can someone tell me how it is done?

Ok I don't even know how I can edit my post...

So, the picture is uploaded on flickr. It doesn't Show automatically but when I click on the picture Icon on feedburner I can see it. It is square and when I created it on gimp it was 1400x1400. Still, ITunes gives me the error of the picture not being right. There is not even a preview.

Ok so now I've got the picture going but the feed still doesn't load. It doesn't even give a reason. It just says "your feed couldn't be loaded".

Any guesses?

Maybe itunes can't retrieve the audio somehow? I use archive.org and the url linking to the audio just go to the archive.org-site where the audio can be listened to. But on the right column there is a download link to "apple lossless audio". Is that the link that should be on my podcast? Or do I need to use the "embed" link?

The complaint now on validating it in Podcasts Connect is that they cannot download episodes from your feed. This isn't a podcast feed. It has no 'enclosure' tags containing the URLs of playable media. Indeed there are no references to playable media at all. What you have is in effect a weblog with a lot of pictures in it. You need to have media files in the formats .mp3, .m4a, .m4v, .mov or .mp4 file (not Windows Media, RealMedia or Flash).

Ok so now I embedded the audio directly onto my podcast. It is a .m4a that is also shown on feedburner but still I get the same complaint 😟

'.m4a' does not appear anywhere in your feed. Incidentally when you do manage to insert the media file it must be in the top episode - that's the only one the Store checks.

We're getting there! So no I get "green" on the submitting page. Itunes recognizes my files as audio and lists, at least, my last 2 episodes. BUT it says the duration of each episode is 0 minutes? Is that default before it gets finally submitted or am I still doing something wrong?

This is because you have no 'itunes:duration' tag containing the duration of the file - details here:

There should be somewhere in either Feedburner or Blogger to enter this.

Ok at least I got it going. I decided to not bother with the duration for now. I'm just happy I was able to submit my podcast. No I'm just waiting.
