Q: Small noises between almost every cut

There are short pieces of separate and unwanted audio between most of my cuts on my current project, how do I get rid of them and why are they there?

iPad Air, iOS 9.3.1

What kind of audio do you hear? Is it clicks, noise, real audio like music, voice etc? Have you played the clips separately to ensure the audio is not associated with the clip? What are the specs of the clips? Is the audio there when you add a transition? What version of iMovie and Mac OS are you running? As you can see from my questions more info is needed to search for a solution.

Thanks for replying Jim- the noises are little bites of my voice. The video is of me speaking so the small sounds bites in between are somehow taken from the audio in the project. They remain when I add a transition. The are also not parts of the clips themselves- when I start them or pause them without going over the cut the sound is not there. I have the latest version of OS for iPad Air, and the latest imovie (just bought it a week ago). Thanks for your time and help.

This forum is for iMovie for Mac.   You displayed your operating system as iOS, so you might try submitting your question to the iMovie for iOS forum, as I understand that there are some differences in iMovie between the two operating systems.

    Good luck with this.

I would agree with the suggestion to post in iMovie for iOS. I am not familiar with the iOS version of iMovie so have no advice to offer. Hopefully you will get an answer in the other forum.

Not sure where the extra audio is coming from if it's not part of a clip used in the project. Which makes getting rid of it even more challenging!   There is a setting that in the transitions option that lets you turn on or off the included transition sounds. Could try toggling that on/off and see what happens.  If that doesn't work then it sounds like a bug so you may want to submit it to Apple here: http://apple.com/feedback/imovie_ios.html

Also, I just downloaded the latest update which appears to be from today. You might try that and see if there is any change. Hope it helps!
