Hi Ebz007,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

It looks like you can't set up Touch ID and the battery appears to be draining on your iPhone 6.

You can find some troubleshooting steps for Touch ID in the "Get Help" section of Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad.

For investigating your battery runtime, try these steps to see if apps were working in the background About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch:

Go to Settings > Battery.

To see how long each app has been open and onscreen, and running in the background, tap User uploaded file. Under each app, you might see these usage types:

  • Background Activity means that your battery is used while apps run in the background.
  • Audio means that apps play audio while running in the background.
  • No Cell Coverage and Low Signal means that your device is searching for a signal or being used with a low signal.
  • Backup & Restore indicates that your device has been backing up to iCloud or restoring from an iCloud backup.
  • Location and Background Location means that your battery was used when tracking your device.

If the battery runtime can't be accounted for, next I'd recommend restarting your iPhone and charging it fully again--Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. After this, try the tips in About the battery usage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to see if they improve battery life.

All the best.
