updating
I am having problems updating to the latest OS X EI Capitan 10.11.4
hi William, I did too. My app store and update app is not working properly, so I went to the apple download site here: About the OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 Update - Apple Support. I had to download first 10.11.2 El Capitan and install that (I was behind in my update because my app store app is not working). The file is osxupdcombo10.11.2.dmg. Then after that, I downloaded 10.11.3 combo, then after that the 10.11.4 combo. The regular, non combo version of 10.11.4 update did NOT work, telling me my install location would not accept the update. The combo worked.
I am here on the forum to try to figure out how to update my app store app. good luck
