So i sent some iMessages to someone, they have sent but they don't say delivered at the bottom. They've been sitting like that for about a whole day now. Their phone is on, they are connected to wifi and they haven't blocked me

There are instances where the issue may be with the Apple servers -
Try another message preferably just a hi or hello - keeping it short - and see if that goes through
Also is the issue with just one contact? Are you able to iMessage other people?
It looks to just be with them. It happened recently too but resolved itself within a few hours. I sent a link to them about over a week ago and that still hasn't delivered either.
SO I've just found out she isn't recieving my facetime calls either although if she calls me it comes through fine and I can answer it and we can talk.
IS she lying to avoid you? Lol
but no seriously, goto facetime , reach me by, change it to your email not the phone number, erase her contact. Have her do the same, then, Facetime her manually by email not phone #.

Set caller id to emails on both
Make sure the contact has their iMessage and FaceTime turned on in settings and they are signed in
