All storage, you should be mindful it does not get 85% full. Once it does, then it really is too full.
Time to offload photos, movies or something.

Always keep at least two copies of your most essential data at all times.

Apr 17, 2016 6:24 PM in response to Youngranvilleby Allan Jones,Before doing anything rash, there is a known bug that can cause the "Other" category to over-report its size. Normally reindexing the Spotlight database with fix it, so you should try that first. It is easy---Apple instructions are here:
Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes - Apple Support
If that does not fix the problem then you will need to follow a brody's sage advice.
