My os x mountain lion when updating just restarts and boots normally
When I try to update my macbook it restarts and then boots normally. The image is of what the update is.
MacBook, Mid 2010
Go to the menu with the option/alt key held down and select the first item. In the report look under Software/Installations. Does the update show there?
