iTunes Producer Login

I downloaded iTunes Producer.

I created the two-step verification.

I created an app-specific password for iTunes Producer.

When I try to log into iTunes Producer I get an error: Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly.

I have tried using my regular Apple ID log-in credentials as well as the app-specific password with my Apple ID. Neither works. I only have one Apple ID. Can Apple make this anymore difficult?
