Q: Can I untrust computers from my iPod classic?

I Have had problems with my Mac resulting in it being reset a few times, thus casing my iPod classic to think I have trusted too many devices. I don't have a lot of technology knowledge. So help I found a way to untrust my iPad and my iPhone 4s now I need help with my classic, I really don't want to reset it and lose all the playlists, yet despite backing up my comp I have lost them on my Mac yet my classic still has them. I bought my classic between 2010 and 2012 (I think) I do not know the operating system level on it. Help!!

I think there is some confusion here. The iPod itself isn't tracking computer authorizations or trust status. What is the error message you are seeing? I suspect you need to deauthorize all computers and then authorize your current computer. See Deauthorize your computer using iTunes - Apple Support.

Note there are actually two authorization mechanisms in play. When computers or devices are authorized for automatic downloads from a given Apple ID they cannot be deauthorized or reassigned for 90 days. This kind of authorization limits you to 10 computers/devices of which no more than 5 can be computers. The other mechanism controls downloads, and playback & transfers of protected content. Here you are limited to no more than 5 computer authorizations for the Apple ID. Typically these can be lost when switching or upgrading computers. The deauthorize all command applies here and cannot be used again for a year after being used. You may be able to contact Apple Support and ask if they can reset your authorizations if you are not currently able to do it yourself: https://www.apple.com/support/contact/. Devices are limited to holding protected content from no more than 5 different Apple IDs.
