Q: Combining projects in IMovie 10.1.1

I have five projects that I am trying to combine into one movie that I can share?  I created them in five different projects because the file was going to be very large.  Now that I have all of them done, how can I combine them, so I can show it as one movie?

Making a long video in parts is indeed a good idea.  There are two basic ways of joining them:

The first is to open the second part-movie in the timeline, Select All, then Copy.  Now open the first part-movie in the timeline, move the playhead to the end and Paste.  Do the same with subsequent parts until you have everything in one project and can then share it in one go..

The second is to share each of the parts to file separately then join them together using Quicktime Player.  See: How to use QuickTime Player - Apple Support

    for details.

I often use this second method.
