Hi,

I do have iMac 21.5 late 2013 model

whereas i have already have windows 7 os via bootcamp

recently i have formatted the boot camp proceeds for fresh installation of windows 7 64bit

But bootcamp shows pop up

Boot Camp only supports Windows 7 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 7 or later installation.

The same file was previously installed in the same iMac also i have tried to install in mac air there it is supported

Model iMac 21.5 Late 2013

OS El Capitan 10.11.4

Bootcamp Verison 6

Bootcamp support software 5.1.5640

kindly help me out,....

Just a guess but formatting the Windows partition is what probably caused the problem. I think you may have to remove the Windows partition using Boot Camp Assistant, then start over.

i have done that before

i removed the existing one then i installed as new one but it is not detecting the os

Is you ISO a mixed 32-bit/64-bit ISO?

What is the size of the ISO file? Can you open autorun.inf in a text editor and post the contents?

This looks like a mixed 32-bit/64-bit installer. Can you download the 64-bit only ISO from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 using your W7 Product Key?

But it is an exteme edition developed by third person

i do have 32 bit and 64bit from the same separately.

You can install W7 64-bit using an ISO from Microsoft or from your copy.

Please see Install Windows 7 and earlier on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support and ensure pay attention to steps (especially step 11) under section titled Perform a new install of Windows 7 .
