How do I download matched songs?

How do you download matched songs from itunes match now if you want to upgrade the mp3 version of the song you have to .m4a? It used to be that if you deleted a song on itunes you had the option to just delete the hard drive version but not the icloud version and then you could just download the .m4a version. Now when you delete the song the only options are to remove download or delete song. I don't just want to create an aac version from my mp3, I want to download the matched version.

Select the songs you want to upgrade, right-click and select Remove download, then right-click again and select Download.

You should probably consider making a local backupin addition to your matched library so that you can recover anything that might be deleted in error or if you're not happy with the replacement file, e.g. you get the wrong version from clean/explicit or studio/live.

Hi,

Select remove download. You will see download icon then you can download track to get the matched version. Make sure that you have backed up your original library.
