Hi. Forgive me if I don't have all the correcting but there are two tools available when one works in the DAW. For instance one can have the marquee tool available plus the fade tool but when I worked in Logic 9 I could make 3 available at the same time...can't figure out how make a third choice available at the same time. Is there a way?

Same as in 9, you hold the Command button for that third tool. That has not changed. You can set what that tool is with this menu below, or by hitting T once in the arrange window, select the third tool. Then hit T twice to go back to your normal arrow tool. Exactly as it worked in LP9.

Hi, thanks but I understood that already - I was trying to ascertain out how to make 3 tool choices simultaneously available. I cold add a 3rd tool in Logic 9 but not X. Do you have insight into that as well?

The normal left click tool is available as one would expect
The second tool is available with Command
If you choose the preferences as I described, you can access the third tool with a right mouse click.
It works exactly the same way in LP9 and LPX

Yes Command selects the 2nd tool but using a right click doesn't change things, doesn't make a new tool choice materialize. Just wish I could make 3 tool choices co-exist for certain long edit sequences.

CCT is correct - right click and hold to get the third tool.
