Q: My new messages using Mail app are no longer at the top of the list.

Today my new emails in iCloud using the Mail app on my iMac 21.5 OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 are now in the middle of the list of mails in my inbox. Until today all new emails appeared at the top of the list. Today they have begun to show up in the middle of my list of messages in my inbox. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

At the very top of the Inbox - see if Sort by date is still selected

    If not - select it

If yes - use the drop down to change it - quit mail and restart it and then select sort by date

At the top of the inbox, "sort by date" is not something I can see. I have 4 inboxes, and the 3 other inboxes all sort by date, newest to oldest. It's only the iCloud email account that is sorting differently. I have figured out that the iCloud emails are being sorted Alphabetically. This is not something I chose, but today my computer is acting crazy. Thanks for the information. It helps, but since I can't see "sort by date" option, I don't know what to do. Regards, RRR

Sorry ManSinha, I just found the sort by date, I was looking "at" the inbox, not "in" the inbox. I found the sort by date and changed it. Thanks for the information. I appreciate your prompt help to my problem. Best Regards, RRR
