Q: Buying a used macbook air (without original bill)

Thanks for your reply. The warranty is still valid until Nov 2016. But how can I ascertain it is not stolen? I called the Apple Store and they told me when taking to a store for repair, they ask for bill (or a duplicata of the bill), without which the mac wont be taken in for repairs.

How did you find this MacBook? Why is it being sold?
Based on discussions in these forums Apple does NOT ask for original receipt or copy for warranty work
