Facebook Login opening other apps

When using Facebook to log into others apps, it opens completely unrelated app. e.g. I am trying to re-login to my Nike Running App after resetting my phone completely and selected the option to sign in with Facebook. What happens next is mind-boggling, the sign in prompts me to open an unrelated app (in this case Tunein Radio). This the second time that I have noticed an app doing this. This is annoying because I couldn't log my run this morning.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.1

Is the Tune In Radio running in the background? Is it possible to swipe up in app switcher and close all the apps except the one you are working with and try the log in?

I used the switcher to close Tunein and Nike Running and re-log in but nothing happens

I'm having the exact same problem whereby the NIke running app is trying to connect to facebook but opens up the tunein radio app instead. I would be keen to find out why this is and resolve the issue.

I have this same issue - I log into OpenTable by signing in with Facebook and it opens Tunein Radio. It must be something with the Tunein Radio app?

HI Garrett and Todd,

I really did not find a technical answer to the problem but I used a workaround. I resorted to uninstalling the TuneIn app, logging into the apps I needed to at the time and them reinstalling Tunein. Not an optimal solution but I was subsequently able to to log my runs etc. I would still be curious as to the real solution or issue.

If I try this trick it then opens another app (seems to be next by reverse-alphabetica order : it was Formyfit then Fitlist)

Any update about this problem?

I had the same link problem between SyncMe and Facebook but with the new version of SyncMe of 12th May it's now solved
