Q: No ringing sounds on incoming calls

I have iPhone 6 Plus with ios 9.3.1.  There are no ringing sounds on incoming calls. I have turned off vibrate to see whether that was the cause but it still didn't fix the issue. One thing that I noticed that if I plug in the headset to the iPhone, I could hear the ringing sound in the headset. How do I fix this issue?
