Q: no app store or itunes in settings on my ipad after updating to ios 9.3.1

Updated to IOS 9.3.1, trying to update app store downloads, keep getting asked for password to an old apple id which I don't use anymore and have forgotten.  App store and I tunes are no longer showing in "settings", so I have no way of changing the Apple ID for the app store.  Have signed out of everything which uses my apple id, but still no joy!  HELP!!

All purchases made under the old Apple ID will forever be tied to that ID, They cannot be transferred or migrated to your new Apple ID.

Either try to update your old ID, or just switch to the new one, and re-download the free apps.

Thanks, but they were not purchased under the old Apple ID, they were free downloads done about a month ago, which is the odd thing.  I cannot update the apple id or password, because there is no way to do this as app store and itunes don't show in the settings menu.

OR, am i missing a new method of changing my apple ID for the app store?

    Thanks in anticipation

Hey, I had the same issue of not finding the "Store" in Settings. This worked for me: Go to Settings > General > Restrictions and make sure that you have "iTunes Store" ALLOWED. To me, turning it on made "iTunes & App Store" automatically appear on Settings, right under "iCloud".
