Q: How to factory reset iPad Air without ITunes?
Recently, (today), I upgraded to the newest iOS for my iPad Air. While making a passcode, I written it really fast becuase I would've turned it off. My mum called me for breakfast so I left it there.
Just before going to school, I noticed it turned off and now I required to enter a passcode. I tried until I was disabled,, and I kept trying and waiting the times until I searched up what to do. I tried to go on recovery mode using iTunes on my laptop (yes, I plugged in my device), but it keeps having an error. I've done it right once, and it said that it needed a response from my iPad itself.
So, I'd like to know a way to factory reset my iPad without iTunes if it's even possible. I've seen 10+ forums and websites but none were easy and confused me a ton.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Michiette

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support no you can't you must use iTunes.
you said there was an error but didn't state what it was so you can look here Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support
