Q: Photos didn't download from iCloud.

I just switched from the iPhone 6SE to the regular 6 and I downloaded my photos from my iCloud but they aren't showing up in my photo album.  However, if I go to iCloud Photo Library in Manage Storage, it says I have all of my pictures. Where are they?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1

    Hello Bradymcnamara,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If I understand your post correctly you have been using iCloud Photo Library, but when you have set up your new iPhone, it is not displaying the content from your iCloud Photo Library.  Given you just made this switch, it's very possible the photos could still be downloading to your new iPhone.  You can check the status of the upload/download by following the directions below:

When do photos and videos upload to iCloud Photo Library?

When you turn on iCloud Photo Library on your iOS device or Mac, your photos and videos will upload after you connect to the Internet with Wi-Fi and your battery is charged. You can see the status and pause the upload for one day when you follow these steps:

    • On your iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Photos.
    • On your Mac, click Photos > Preferences > iCloud.

Depending on your Internet connection speed, the time it takes for your photos and videos to appear on the Photos app on iCloud and all of your devices might vary. Make sure you turn on iCloud Photo Library on each device.
