Hello,
I have been having a issue when I plug in my iPod to charge, it wont BUT when I push up from the bottom of the charger (Looking at the face of the iPod and pulling the charger from the back toward you.) I tried different plugs, got the dirt out of the port. But still acts up with charging. I been able to get to charge, but its been really hard at times to get to charge.
Please Help!

Not Charge

- Try another cable. The cable for 5G or later iPod (lightning connector) seems to be more prone to failure than the older cable.

- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
This may call for a visit to the Genius Bar, It is also possible that a cord was plugged in, burned (This has happened to 2 of my cords) and damaged the port while plugged in. Have you tried plugging in different locations?
