can i mix 1600 ddr3 memory with 1067 ddr3 memory in my late model mac

Hello, i have an iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) that has 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory
i also have an older mac 24 inch late 2009 that uses 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory my question scan i put the older memory into the 2 empty slots of my newer iMac ? Thank you for you’re time any help is greatly appreciated.
