Passcode Error When Signing Into iCloud on iPhone

I'm trying to log into my iCloud account on my iPhone 6s, but it keeps asking me for the passcode to my other iPhone. Issue is, I traded that old one off when I switched to Verizon and I don't remember that passcode. We did erase the old phone as well before it was traded off.

Any ideas?!User uploaded file

Howdy affolter56,

If you're being prompted for the passcode for your last iPhone when setting up your new device, then you've enabled two-step verification for your Apple ID. The information below details what to do at this point so that you can continue setting up your new iPhone.

What if I lose or give away one of my trusted devices?

If you no longer have access to one of your devices, go to your Apple ID account page as soon as possible to remove that device from your list of trusted devices. That device can then no longer be used to help verify your identity.
