Q: My iTunes won't synch my iPhone calendar

After installing a new hard drive and restoring my system from my Time Machine backup- I find I cannot completely synch my calendar from my iPhone.

I want to uninstall my iTunes and reinstall a clean copy, but cannot find a work around to uninstall. Suggestions?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

    Hello DDTSapple,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you want to delete your iTunes and reinstall it. You can delete it and then download and reinstall it, see the following article: OS X El Capitan: Reinstall apps that came with your Mac

But it looks like the reason that you want to reinstall iTunes because of sync issues with your calendar from your iPhone. If so, you might be better served by working on that instead of iTunes. Take a look at this article to get started: Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders

    Regards.

    - I find I cannot completely synch my calendar from my iPhone.

Just to be clear, are you not able to sync the calendar on your iPhone to your calendar on your Mac, or the other way around?

One step to take is to review in Calendar which calendars you have set to sync/display. You do this, both in Calendar and in your Internet/Mail accounts settings (for example to allow Gmail to also sync calendars).
