How do I export my Apple ID contacts?

I Assume that you mean how to export them from the phone. You can use a third party app like this one, that I use.

So, I just went through iCloud and just "selected all" in settings and exported to vCard. Duh, apologize to all.

You beat me to it - I would have (and just did) search Google with this search string = " export iphone contacts site:support.apple.com "
iCloud: Export contact information as a vCard is the top result (not the Google 'recommended' result, which is also an Apple article)
