Printing

I have been trying to get my stepdad's iPad 4 to print on an AirPrint machine. However when I go to tap on the print icon it isn't the usual icon of an actual printer but is a cloud shape icon. I'm not sure what's going on, but I don't get my printed documents. I have successfully printed the same documents on the same printer from my iPad 4. Does anyone know what's happening and how to sort it out. Many thanks.

Does any app on your stepdad's iPad show the printer?

The cloud icon may refer to being published to his iCloud account
