Q: get download for air drop

I was just given my brother's iPad version 7.1.2 (11D257) Before I clear it and enter all MY information, he wants me to get the 11 photos he has in Photos on it sent to him via email so he has them.

How would I go about that?

I have my iPad 3 for a couple of years now, but have no idea how to proceed don't want to lose his photos. When I click on share in Phots on HIS iPad it is asking about Air Drop. No option to email the photos to my email address that I can find.

2- Is there an easy way to delete all his information and set it up with MY information etc. in Settings. if so, how?

It has been a long time since I used iOS 7 so rather than relying on my memory the following may help with how to email the photos: http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/how-to-properly-email-photos-in-ios-7
Another option would be to simply connect the phone to a computer via the USB cord (charging cord without the charger) and upload the photos to a computer (do not use iTunes to do that).
