iPod is not recognized in itunes.

New iPod is no longer recognized on iTunes. Device is less than 1 week old. Formerly able to sync audiobooks. Now unable to power the device or have it recognized . please help

iPod nano (7th generation, Mid 2015), version 1.1.1 serial # DCYQV3ECGK6

Try doing a Reset (restart) on the iPod

NOTE: If the iPod is currently low on battery power, you can do this while it is connected to power.


If that does not help, please post back, with details about what happens when you try a Reset. Also, do you use a Mac or Windows PC? If Windows, what version?
