Q: encrypt password Help

i set up the encrypt on my iPhone back up for my computer but i do not remember the password.

What can i do when i do not remember the encrypt password for my computer ?

    Hello Marisol1615,

     

    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. 

     

    I see that you have forgotten the password for the iPhone backup in iTunes on your computer. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can recover the information or turn off Encrypt Backup if you forget the password. The following article: About encrypted backups in iTunes  contains this warning:

    There is no way to recover your information or turn off Encrypt Backup if you lose or forget the password.

     

    You will need to create a new backup for your iPhone and continue from there.
