Powerbeats wireless audio cuts out on iphone

Devices:

Iphone 6 - IOS 9.3.1

Ipad 4 Mini - IOS 9.3.1

Powerbeats Wireless

1. While walking if I put my phone in my pants pocket, the audio drops randomly and more than it should given the phone is only a couple feet from the earphones.

2. While walking if I turn my head to the left, the left ear has the ear piece with power and charging controls. I don't even have to fully turn my head, a slight turn to glance for traffic and the sound cuts, turn back and fine. This happens all the time, if I turn my head the other way towards the non control earpiece it doesn't happen each time.

It seems to be an issue with the iphone 6 not the beats. When I tested with my ipad I was able to walk around and turn my head constantly both ways without losing any audio connections. I was also able to walk away from the ipad without dropping connection.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have this EXACT same issue. I like to use them for walking. I put my phone in my jeans pocket and it cuts out with every step I take. I don't even have to turn my head. Sometimes I just my Powerbeats while I am cleaning. So, when I'm in the kitchen I put my phone on the back counter while I am washing dishes or cooking, and I don't have a problem. I'd really like to see a resolution to this. I originally wanted the Solo 2 wireless but they're much more expensive so my husband got these for me for Christmas this last year. I'm glad now he didn't spend more not he more expensive model. So far I'm just not impressed! Please help us, Apple!

I have the exact same issue. However, I do believe its the Beats problem because I have had it happen using my Apple Watch and my iPhone 5. The only common item between the both was that it happened while outside on a sunny day. When I try to reproduce the problem indoors I can not get the Beats to cut out. It difficult to return them to Apple for repair or exchange when the issue can not be reproduced reliably.

Turning your head left seems to be the only way to reproduce it right seems to work OK.

I thought I was going mad, then I found your post... mine do the EXACT same thing. Got my iPhone in my left trouser pocket so if anything it's closer to that side than the right, but every time I turn my head left the audio cuts out and stutters until I turn my head back again.

I was thinking about returning them to the Apple Store, it's a problem I can reproduce 100% of the time.
