How do I add Network drives to my Sidebar when doing a "Save As"?

How do I add Network drives to my Sidebar when doing a "Save As"?

When I pull up Finder by itself....my "Favorites" are there including network drives and iCloud.
But....when I attempt to do a "Save As" for some clip art or photo I come across by right clicking and choosing "Save image as".....when in a MS Office program such as Excel or Word and I choose "Save As" to save the document to my iCloud.......
NONE of the Favorites are present......meaning none of the network drives appear.

I'm running the latest version of El Capitan on a 24" early 2009 iMac.....

Any help appreciated.

Thank you Axeman....but I failed to mention that I had already done that (to expand the save dialog box). It lists "Devices" and "Shared"....but no network drives.....no iCloud.....

Which is the crux of my problem.

Hi. Try Finder -> Preferences -> Sidebar. There you can make iCloud visible under your favorites, and shared folders as well. Just make sure you check the boxes of all the options you want available at the sidebar. I hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply, Fab.dom....but as I mentioned earlier....I've already done what you describe here. When I pull up Finder by itself....ALL those things are there....the network drives.....iCloud.....everything.

It's ONLY when doing a "Save As" that my "Favorites" and all the network drives and iCloud disappear.

This is very frustrating when trying to save a MS Office document (Word or Excel).....as I want to save them to my iCloud Drive.

Can you think of anything else I can try?

Sorry, I failed to realise you've described that in your first post. Is it happening on every application like Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Apple applications like preview? Did it start happening after an OS upgrade or just out of the blue? Does it happen in other user accounts as well? Based on the current information, the only thing I can think about right now is for you to make sure you have updated your Office and Adobe apps (Help -> check for updates), and probably El Capitan combo update as well: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1869?locale=en_US

Hopefully it will fix itself after the updates...

As a matter of fact....it is a recent occurrence. It used to work.....but in the past 2 weeks it stopped working.

It is not only MS Office documents....but when right clicking an image to "Save As".....none of the "Favorites" are available. No network drives, no iCloud Drive. All missing.

I've confirmed all software updates are indeed...."up to date".

Still not working.

This is really strange....and any help would be appreciated.
