    Hi syedfromtulsa

Are you sure the Notes you are creating are iCloud Notes and not in a Notes account linked to an email account or "On My iPhone"?

Settings > Notes > is "On My iPhone" Account toggled on?

Just out of curiosity while you are there, what is your Default Account for Siri?

My guess is that the Notes are on your "On My iPhone" account.

Open the Notes app and tap the arrow on the top left until you get all the way out to the Accounts list.

Here you will be able to tell where they are. If they are on your "On My iPhone" account, you will need to move them to iCloud.

To move them, tap on Notes under the "On My iPhone" account > Edit (top right) > Move All (bottom left) > select Notes under the iCloud account.

After you move them I would turn off "On My iPhone" account to avoid confusion:

Settings > Notes > is "On My iPhone" Account toggled off

To move them, tap on Notes under the "On My iPhone" account > Edit (top right) > Move All (bottom left) > select Notes under the iCloud account. After doing this, iclould does not show .it shows on the top "Folders" and under it shows  " on my iphone, New folder, Notes. I also tried to turn of the "ON My iPhone" Account under the notes. but it did not let me.

Are you sure iCloud Notes are on?

Settings > iCloud > make sure Notes is toggled on.

If it is, try toggling it off, wait until it finishes then toggle it back on

Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?

I have the same if not worse issue as I switched off the notes link with iCloud then switched it back on.  My Notes app is ok but it still crashes.  There are now NO notes on my phone and I cannot switch off the "On My iPhone" option as the whole thing is greyed out.

I originally tried the on and off option to see if it would fix the fact my iPhone does not sync with iCloud notes at all which is frustrating.  NOTE my Mac and iPad do sync with iCloud as I can see the notes on the web - JUST NOT ON MY PHONE which is my most used device.  Really growing tired of Apple software issues.

Anyone got a sensible fix otherwise I am going to reinstall Evernote!
