Hello,
My kiddo was just using QuickTime Player (v 10.4) to record a movie with my webcam with no issues. Then I installed the Yosemite Security Update 10.10.5 and now QuickTime doesn't recognize any audio input, either from the webcam mic or one I plug in (iPhone ear buds). When I go into System Preferences/Sound I can see that the computer is detecting the audio, so it's just QT.
Please help! (And maybe recommend a software alternative?)
Using a late 2012 Mac Mini running Yosemite 10.10.5
