iPad Pro 9.7 inch, cellular does not work as a hotspot
in Switzerland advertised as working with Swiss telephony internet providers, and can be used as a personal hotspot.
It doesn't work. I took to an Apple shop, and they tried with my SIM card, with other models, like iPad Air2, and it shows Personal Hotspot on the setting. But not on my iPad Pro 9.7 cellular version. So they took their own display model from the Apple shop, and it shows the same as my own iPad Pro, meaning does not show "personal hotspot". The Apple technician told me it is a problem with the telephony provider Sunrise. But I have iPhone 6, iPad Air2, and it works with them fine. These shows "personal hotspot". I took to Sunrise telephone shop, they checked my card, account, and tried with several of their shop models with my SIM card, and it all worked.
I got home, i took my SIM card from my iPhone, put into the Pro, doesn't work but works with my Air2. I took Swisscom, which works in iPhone 6, iPad Air2, showing "personal hotspot" but not on my iPad Pro 9.7 inch model. I tried all variations, all models are running on IOS 9.3.1. the only combinations of various SIM cards and iPhones and iPads, the only combination doesn't show Personal Hotspot on the setting menu is the iPad Pro 9.7 inch model.
Apple shop tells me nothing wrong with their product. Sunrise says nothing wrong with their side, and I'm left alone.
BTW, the Apple shop staff could not even show me a working model, i.e. their display model of iPad Pro 9.7 with cellular with setting menu displaying Personal Hotspot on/off. if they don't have a working model to show it to me, how can they say nothing wrong with Apple.
Can someone help me?
