iPhone 6s Plus. 128gb. Storage full

I have the same problem as everyone. I have a Mac so all my files and data gets automatically backed-up. I deleted all my pictures from the phone, have done everything but now I read on here that the WhatUp App which I have only used once is the cause. I have now delete it lets hope this works otherwise there is an issue with this model phone.

To get a better idea what is actually taking up space on your iPhone I suggest you take a look at the storage space by using the link below.

Use your iOS device to check its storage

Tap Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage.

You'll see a list of your apps, and how much storage each one uses. Tap an app for more detailed information about its usage.

Depending on the app, you might be able to delete some of its content, or delete the app and all of its content. If your device is almost full, or you get a Storage Almost Full alert, remove some less-used content.

Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If you connect your device to the computer and iTunes, and then select the iPhone, in the Summary screen you will see a graph at the bottom of the page indicating the usage of the iPhone's storage. See if there is more than 1.5GB of usage in Other. If so, that is your problem.

Sounds as if it could be some type of corrupt file. What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

If you have backed up your phone, you will not lose any content. You do backup your phone, correct?

If you have synced content to supported applications, and have backed the device up, you should not lose anything. To this date, and I've been using iPhones since the very beginning, I've never lost any content when doing updates, or any other work with my devices. We have 6 iPhones and 3 iPad Minis in the house.
