why are NPR podcasts spontaneously unsubscribing?

I have been a regular listener to several NPR podcasts for years and never had an issue with them until recently. Now the three NPR podcasts I listen to unsubscribe themselves after a few hours. I resubscribe... then they unsubscribe again. Everything else on my podcast list stays put, EVEN THE ONES I'VE TRIED TO DELETE. The only ones affected seem to be from NPR.

Anyone else having this problem? Any way I can fix it? Is it because I haven't updated to 9.3.1 yet? Is it because I said bad things about NPR's reporting lately? Is NPR eavesdropping on me?!
