I have lost the little plastic part from the back/bottom of my iPod. Had a look around and it seems like there is only 1 company in the US which is willing to sell and ship this for £17. I was wondering if there was any way I can get this part replaced without spending £17. I cant find anyone else who sells this. Its just a piece of plastic and I don't want to pay £17 for it. Any idea where I can get a replacement?

I would look for and buy a broken iPod nano 7th gen, on eBay or other online source. That's not a "technical" part, so it can be salvaged from almost any broken iPod of the same type. And you'll have some of other (more expensive) "spare parts," for future use.
