my Apple TV won't update To TVOS 9.2 It starts but returns a message " the update was not successful, try again later". I receive the same message when I try to update by restoring/resetting the device. Anyone have any ideas How to overcome this? I've tried for a week....

Have you tried reset first then trying an update/restore after that?
Are you sure your network and internet connections are good? This really sounds like the download failed.
If you have a USB-C cable, there's a more tedious restore process you could try: Restore your Apple TV through iTunes - Apple Support . Note that the download is over 1Gb.
As always, try power cycling ATV, in case it's just a goofy software error.
I hate to say it, but because they are apple products, I never start with the fundamental "power cycle" approach. I did that, and the download started immediately. Thanks for sharing!
