Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I just finished a slideshow project. When I tried to export, there is only 480p, 720p and 1080p option. I understand there is a 4K option. Why doesn't I have that option. The photos are taken with a hi res camera. Only photos r used in the slideshow. No videos. Pls help
Where did you learn about the 4K option? I am not aware of one

You can create a 4K video in iMovie. From the iMovie Help:
the resolution and frame rate of your movie project are determined by the first clip you add to the timeline. iMovie now supports 4K video and frame rates higher than 30 frames per second (fps). If you want your project to be set to 4K resolution, the first clip you add to the timeline must be a 4K clip. If you want your project to be set to 60 fps, the first clip you add to the timeline must be a 60 fps clip.
iMovie 10.1. can browse your Photos Library from the Media browseer.
Use iMovie as léonie suggested and access your photos in the library via iMovie's browser:

Perhaps the next version will make it possible. Right now, 1080p is the best we can do in Photos, sorry.
